Jvc cassete video gr-fx10, jlip cable to laptop from vcr. where on earth does this cable plug into my acer aspire?
Answers: I don't know any of the hardware that you mention but I doubt your laptop have the necessary inputs to allow you to download video from a vcr, I would envisage that the best way forward would be to buy a tv card and download the video into your laptop by essentially turning your laptop into a tv and CD the video just close to you would record on to the vcr from the tv receiver, then using the software you return with with the tv card convert the video to digital and expurgate it. With most of these progs you have to hold the video installed on your hard drive back you can edit it so you enjoy to download it before you can start.
Another risk is upgrading your graphics card to one with composite inputs but that would be profusely more expensive than the tv card option. I hope thsat I embedded what you are asking so I hope I have help and not confused the issue. Best of luck.
