DVD demo from a sony handycam?
Answers: It is possible using a video editor software to embezzle still pictures from a video - BUT - they will be far from 'perfect' snapshots. Video frames by their very humour are very poor resolution and when you try to print them at a valid size you will be VERY VERY dissapointed.
but you can try it this way
Use a programme call Ulead VideoStudio - you take the mini-disc out of your camcorder and put it into the DVD tray of your PC making sure it sits centrally surrounded by the little depression made for it. You may have to 'finalise' the mini DVD your camera encyclopaedia will tell you how to do that - but you should document that once a DVD is finalised you cannot record any more video on it.
Inside VideoStudio you select "Insert DVD" and point the programme at the DVD and follow the prompts and the video is copied from the disc into the timeline of VideoStudio so that you can cut it - remove stills from individual frames - add lots of different video together - add titles/music/narration - variety a file that you can e-mail or upload to 'Youtube' etc. and finally burn to a full size DVD to play contained by a standard player.

Yes, but DVD cameras aren't good for editing.
