How do I copy files from my handy cam dvd-rs?

I used to be able to lately put the disk in my dvd drive and soft rip but very soon it wont even register the dvd.. iv tried on 2 pcs now...


Answers:    Use another disc to see whether your handy cam dvd is OK. if it doesn't works, the drive is likely to be the software you used.

You presumably finalised the discs before trying to scrutinize them ?
