Answers:    it's simple.

first you enjoy to check whether your video camera has the firewire port on it. you can check near the details of 'firewire' here > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FireWire

If you have identified the type of firewire you hold, then it is time for you to capture yourself a IEEE card, or also known as firewire card or video card that have IEEE ports on it. along with the card, you'll return with firewire cable. this cable is used to connect from your video camera to your computer, from the firewire port on your videocam to the port on the IEEE card that you have newly bought. If you are running windows xp, your computer will detect the video cam itself once you turn on your videocam.

Once the computer have detected your videocam, you can now nouns your videos into the computer via any video editing software.

If you enjoy windows movie designer, start it and choose 'capture from device'. it will then occupation your videos.

Good luck!
