How can i fix my video cam setting when i takeover video?

im trying to capture a video from my cam into my notebook. when i play the video the video on the cam its perfect but when i see it on the workstation the quality of the video is not great

Answers:    check your settings on your camcorder to be sure you are film in SP, not LP. LP will be reduced characteristic. Your viewing window on your camcoder is small so any time you panorama a large video contained by a small window it will look better within the small window. And once you write it to a DVD it will look significantly better as all right. (on a tv, not your computer). Make sure that your capture information rate is high adequate. Optimum is around 7 MB, more than that is a refuse of disk space.
