How do I formulate my mini-dv movies from my camcorder into DVDs?

I have a Dell laptop. What type of cord do I obligation to connect my camcorder to my computer so that I can put my home movies onto disk? I have a Sony Handycam DCR-HC21.


Answers:    Does the PC own a Firewire input? If so, this is the best way to connect. And achieve Nero (unless the camera came near some software) and you can edit the textile in within using Nero Vision, but more importantly the result can be burnt into a 'proper' DVD near menus etc. easily.
