Can anyone recommend a 'good' 'Capture Card'?
I'm looking (if possible) for a USB 'occupation card'
I'm have no experience whatsoever near this kind of entity.
And am looking for any help.
Answers: What do you want a "takeover card" for? Since you posted in the the camcorder forum, I presume you want to verbs video from your camcorder.
Typically, when you install a capture card contained by your computer, it already has Video (yellow) and audio (Red-right audio; White-left audio) jacks on it - so USB is unnecessary.
If your computer already has an available USB port, you can connect an "Analog/Digital bridge" so you can introduction video from a VHS VCR or TV. An example of this external A/D bridge is http://www.pinnaclesys.com/PublicSite/us...
If you have a miniDV base camcorder and you want to transfer that video to your computer, you could connect it beside its AV cable to the external A/D bridge or or the capture card mentioned above - but the trait will not be very perfect. A better method - and much better video quality would be to donate a firewire port to your computer and transfer the video using the DV port on the camcorder over a firewire cable to the firewire port of your computer.
Hard drive, flash memory and DVD base camcorders have different requirements and connections for transferring video.
