i bought a firewire cord today for my sony handycam dvd camcorder. My dvd drive on my computer is broken so people on here said for me to bring a fire wire cord. I bought one, and asked teh guy who worked at best buy in the region of it. One side fits into the camera the other side dosent fit into my emachines desktop. Its not a usb cord its much tiner then that. what do i do? is in that another certain thoughtful i can get, or another type of cord to hook up? please assistance!
Answers: What they sold you was a firewire cord. However, it does not nouns like you hold a firewire input on your computer. You also have to know if the firewire connections you hold on the camera and computer are 4 pin or 6 pin and get the cord to meeting. But again it does not sound similar to you have a firewire port on the computer so the cord will not do you any biddable. Your computer has a usb port but does your camera? You own to find the compatible connectors for your specific camera and your computer port. Without knowing what those are I cannot help you.
