Help uploading video from video camera?

I just bought a Video Camera JVC Model, and i want to upload video from my video camra, i used my USB cable to upload my pictures that i took but when i switch the mode from memory (pics) to video, it goes from uploading pics to a majority video camera mode, where i can see and picture my videos i made. Also when i upload next to the USB with the memory switch still on, i cant upload video, so thats not the problem.

PLEASE help, and im solitary 16 and i don't understand computer gossip so dumb things down for me.


Answers:    your video camera should come with some kid software, you hold to install the software first, then from the application software, you should competent to do the uploading thing , basically follow the instruction. If you don't have the software that come with the camera, you can buy third party's software to do the livelihood, photo shop , movie maker, etc.
Unfortunately you hold not told us the exact type of your JVC camcorder - they make various types and the method you use to transfer your video from the camcorder to the PC is different for respectively type - it would appear from what you have told us that USB is not the route to do it on your camcorder.

Does your camcorder record onto small Minidv tape ?
