Why doesn't quicktime work near WindowsMovieMaker?
Answers: They are newly not compatible. Mostly it's because Microsoft chose not to program Windows Movie Maker to support Quick Time.

Get the free program "super". It pretty much converts any video file type to any other filetype. It noticeably works with .mov files. Conver to mpg or avi.
