When I started to transcript beside my sony dcr sr42 it give me an E3100 HDD Format Error; immediately it only won't work

it says that it cant access the hdd and it cant recuperate the data so after it say e3100 hdd format error

you can try to reset back to the inventive factory settings - if this does not resolve the problem, you would likely want to send the camcorder contained by for service.
