Why isnt my pictures from my camera not downloading to my computeR??

i did it before and i know im doing it correctly! i put my usb cable contained by my camera then put the other side of that cable to my computer..turn the power button on and it should bring up a pane asking if i wanna download..and that screen hasnt poped up nonetheless...whats wrong w it?


Answers:    Yes, that is the agency it is supposed to work unless you told Windows to not have the porthole come up.

Here are the steps that you should follow:

1) Connect the camera to the computer with the USB cable.
2) Turn the camera on.
3) Put the camera surrounded by Preview mode. (see camera manual for instructions) it could be a button or a dial depending on the brand.
4) A porthole should pop-up asking what you want to do.
5) If it doesn't pop-up up, then step to My Computer and you should see a Removable drive or a camera listed. If you unstop it up, you will see your pictures buried in a few folders.
