I hold a sony digital camcorder next to a firewire nouns but none of my computers are capture the device?

Can someone tell me why it wont work!


Answers:    Sorry! I too have nothing but problems next to my sony digital camera. two repairs in 1 year while it be under warranty. They told me they would not replace it even though it be a lemon.
Try to remove the programming and reload it. That's the only point I can think of.
I cessation up giving up and selling my sony product and something better!!
Because you need a bit more than only a firewire connection - you also requirement some capture software.
