Copy DVD Movie within Normal compact disc or within Computer?

Dear Sir,

I have bought a New DVD Camcorder (608E) of Sony. I made a Video of Birthday Party. Could you please consent to me know how to copy direct from this Mini DVD to my Computer or in Normal disc, without connecting my Camcorder, because I don’t want to convey my Camcorder to my Office? I am trying to copy this DVD but there are no files distinct on it.
