How can I copy 8mm camcorder tape to VHS short the camcorder?

I no longer have the camcorder for 8mm but I would similar to to copy the tapes onto VHS or DVD, short having it done professionally
Can anyone comfort me?


Answers:    You can bounce to Ebay and get an 8mm portable or non-portable VCR.

The portables are going pretty cheap...

you could buy a used camcorder on ebay and a takeover card. But then if your tape are very feeble they will need to be run thru a TBC to fix the sync and jitter problems.

If you solitary have a few tape, it would be cheaper to send to a professional (like myself). :-)

Buy a dazzle or similar device which connects to
a computer. You can connect your camcorder video out to
this device and story all your tape to a DVD/ CD.

Any computer next to a video capture card can also do this.

I copied adjectives my tapes to a usb disk as a backup using a
elder version of dazzle usb adapter.
