How do i charge my camera by plugging it surrounded by to my computer?

i have a sony handycam and i lost the charger cord and christmas is tomorro =( can i use a usb cord to charge my camera by pugging it into my computer and if so what software do i call for


Answers:    Someone left the digital camera on and I didn't see any charger so, My daughter of late now took the USB cable that come with the camera and plugged the other conclusion into the computer way down towards the bottom of the modem box item. There was a moment or two hole there contained by the front to put it into. We didn't need any software at adjectives.The light on the camera come on and it's charging.
I found the directions to the digital camera and I see it says the computer must be turned on and not within sleep mode. When the light turns bad on the camera it's ready ( going on for 3 hours) Not sure if the handycam works the same...but worth a try. Good luck. Merry Christmas!
to charge your camera you enjoy to plug it into a power source, you don't have a outlet built into any workstation for that, that I have see.
