Conversting 8mm picture to video.?

I have profusely of 8mm movie film that I would approaching to transfer to video. What is a pious procedure to do this? Can one use a video camera, and is so, what is a good approach?

Answers:    This is difficult to do in need special equipment. You'd be best off sending it to a service similar to homemoviedepot.com. I have used them and they do a obedient job at a sound price. There are other companies so look around and pick one.

One recommendation: ask for your output to be uncompressed and written to a external unyielding drive or digital camcorder tape. You want these to be your 'master' files which can afterwards be used to create edited and compressed DVDs. That way, you do not lose detail during the verbs process.
i dont know but there's some companies that take show and convert to dvd
