I have to right to be heard that you should have software which come with your digital camera which should automatically detect your camera, when you plug it within, but if you have an SD card surrounded by your camera you might have to use a card reader, if your laptop has one. Your PC might solitary be able to read your camera's installed memory and SD cards can merely be read with a card reader which are exceptionally cheap to buy, if your PC does not have one installed.
