Good Camcorders?

I have a spending band up to $300.00 to buy a excellent camcorder. What i would be mainly using it for is to upload the recordings i took onto my dell computer, put them onto Windows movie architect, than upload onto youtube.
Ive been looking at a Sony Handycam DCR-HC28 MiniDV Camcorder but i am curious to know if it will be capable of have the expertise to put footage i took DIRECTLY onto my computer instead of a little DVD or something.
Right in a minute i have a Flip Video Camera, approx of 1GB... but what im looking for is clear competence footage i can take and clad zoom WHILE im recording.

Answers:    I chew over vu point solutions is a good camcorder. 5.1mp for just about $100 -$200.
The only route to do that is to hold a camera that has an integrated concrete drive to record your movies onto. They hold to be recorded onto something while they are on the camera.

I would recommend a JVC Everio GZ-MG130. Its believably priced (about $360 on ebay) and has a 30GB rock-hard drive that can store up to 37 hours of film. It also have 34x optical zoom (nice) and a bigger display than the DCR-HC28.
