What is the difference between an SD memory card and an SDHC memory card?

i just bought a JVC Everio GZ-MG130 camcorder and it requires an SD memory card. it recommend using a high-speed SD card at least 10 MB/s... when shopping around online, i hold seeing ones that are SDHC memory cards. Are they the same article or something completely different?


Answers:    SDHC cards are compatible with devices that have the SDHC logo and have high capacity 4-32Gb.

They are different from a regular SD memory cards. Get the Sandisk Extreme III SD card if you want the dignified speed ones.
