How to squirrel away my dvd-video disk from dvd video cam?

I have a canon DC100 digital camcorder... I'd record a few videos over some dvd-r... But next when I tried to open the dvd-r and dvd-rw from some PCs dvd driver, they prompt out - some message similar to - 'disk format is not recognize'.. or something like that. I tried beside some other PCs, I can access the dvd - but it shows that the dvd-r/dvd-rw is empty (when its not!)...

How can I verbs all my video from the dvd-r/dvd-rw to a pc?

Use a programme such as Ulead VideoStudio - you take the mini-disc out of your camcorder and put it into the DVD tray of your PC making sure it sits centrally contained by the little depression made for it. You may have to 'finalise' the mini DVD your camera encyclopaedia will tell you how to do that - but you should minute that once a DVD is finalised you cannot record any more video on it.

Inside VideoStudio you select "Insert DVD" and point the programme at the DVD and follow the prompts and the video is copied from the disc into the timeline of VideoStudio so that you can expurgate it - add lots of different video together - add titles/music/narration - brand name a file that you can e-mail or upload to 'Youtube' etc. and finally burn to a full size DVD to play contained by a standard player.
