How can I verbs my Hi 8 camcorder video to my VCR?

We did movies in institution like 2 weeks ago and I have to use my dad's old samsung video camera. I tried putting it tom my laptop using the s video cable but it unquestionably didn't work. Is there a mode that I can connect the camcorder to the VCR so I can put this on video tapes? Any support will be greatfully appreciated!!

Answers:    The camcorder itself should have a set of "av out" plugs, also certain as RCA plugs, one will be yellow, this is video, the other will be red and white for audio (might purely have one audio plug) you enjoy to plug these into the av in plugs on the VCR and play it through to narrative onto VHS tape. if you dont enjoy the cord for it, take the camcorder to an electronics supply store, any salesman worth his brackish will be able to capture you the proper cord for this.
No camcorder has "set of AV plugs".

If it have AV out, it is a small jack similar in size resembling the jack headphones uses. Then you'll stipulation a special cable. They come with the camcorders. If you lost it, move about to Best Buy or Circuit City to buy another.
