I can't integer out how to liberate video from my Canon camcorder to my computer?

I just get a new Canon DVD Camcorder DC210. It take videos and photos i can nouns and save photos faultlessly fine but when it comes to trying to view and store the videos it doesnt work. The camcorder uses mini discs my video are on a DVD-RW disc that my computer can read. But i can't find an application or any method that will save my video so i can send them and collect them to my computer. Any suggestions?


Answers:    Try it this way

Use a programme call Ulead VideoStudio - you take the mini-disc out of your camcorder and put it into the DVD tray of your PC making sure it sits centrally surrounded by the little depression made for it. You may have to 'finalise' the mini DVD your camera instruction manual will tell you how to do that - but you should memo that once a DVD is finalised you cannot record any more video on it.

Inside VideoStudio you select "Insert DVD" and point the programme at the DVD and follow the prompts and the video is copied from the disc into the timeline of VideoStudio so that you can bowdlerize it - add lots of different video together - add titles/music/narration - fashion a file that you can e-mail or upload to 'Youtube' etc. and finally burn to a full size DVD to play contained by a standard player.
