What is better? 4Mepapixel camcoder next to 80X digtal zoom or 6 megapixel camcoder beside a 20x digital zoom?
what do toy recommend for domestic use. If i need to copy a video or still of an image far agency ( 100-200 meters ), what would you recommend apart from the above recmmendation.
Thank you.
Answers: Both cams have matching optical zoom, which means that neither cam will physically zoom farther than the other. So, I recommend the 6MP since it will relinquish a sharper image than the 4MP. Just because a camcorder touts a soaring digital zoom doesn't mean anything special.
A camcorder's optical zoom is the actual physical distance a camcorder lens can zoom. The digital zoom is not really a zoom at adjectives, but instead it just enlarge the image once the camcorder have reached the closing date of it's optical zoom. It's the same as enlarge a pic that your viewing on a PC, and the larger you make it, the more pixelated and blurred it will become.
That person said, I also recommend you that you never capture descriptions using a zoom extended beyond the camcorders optical zoom, since you can always crop the dummy and enlarge it contained by a photo editor. It's always better to hold a quality pic you can return to than to hold a pixelated, soft, or blurred pic that you can't change.
In adjectives fairness, the only actual use a digital zoom has for a camcorder is to dispense the user the ability to amplify the image for the sake of trying to take a look at something better through the view finder. When it's time to seize a shot or video, it's best to turn it off.
I recommend, 6 megapixels, even after the picture is taken, you can zoom surrounded by a little bit more contained by the editing room, because you have more pixels than the 4 mp one.
