I enjoy a 2 question going on for camcorders (particularly prosumer camcorders)?
2. Is there a $2,000-$10,000 camcorder that have these features (or most of them):
-records in giant definition
-supports (with or without other lenses) a resolution of 1920 x 1080 or 2160 x 1080 (I think 2160 x 1080 is 2.35:1, but I'm not sure)
-offers 24p
-3ccd
-compatable beside great sounding external microphones
-records great in low fluffy
-has no pixelation problems
-looks very close to motion picture
I'm looking for the best prosumer camcorder out there, and am have a hard time finding cameras next to flaws that I really don't want to deal near, and you wouldn't believe how many cameras be perfect except for 1440 x 1080 resolution. I plan on shooting alot of video and I want them to look the best possible.
Answers: I have a prosumer video camera, a Panasonic DVC33. It uses the PAL format, not really compatible beside the USA. But since I live in China, it serves me capably. There is a USA version of that camera. However, contained by hindsight, I aspiration I had gone up one order since there are in no doubt features that can only be gotten to through the menu, whereas the better one is done through switches and dials. Much easier and faster.
As far as attachments, B&H photo have them. A bit pricey for the wide format. You can use a camouflage too, cheaper, or a pro camera will do it for you, but it does it by the pixels by eliminating the top and bottom of the CCD. Its a trade past its sell-by date. I'm not really sure how the attachment from B&H works, but it says it eliminate that problem.
Not even the best still digital camera's equal film. However, digital is so much easier to work near.
Video camera's are simply not as good as a apt film camera. But once the equipment is purchase, the expense is nought.
You are simply going to have to adopt the trade offs unless you want to go beside film.
Yes I know, we'd adjectives like to enjoy a camera that will produce an image as upright as a Hollywood production, but for now, to be exact impossible, unless you got a few million lay around.
As far as mics, all of them will work next to a prosumer camera. But you may need to regulation the plugs. I had a legitimate hard time within China finding a stero mic, till it occurred to me that I didn't call for stereo, but rather something that sounded well brought-up. All I had to do be solder on a mono plug and it works great.
Finally, while Sony makes really pious equipment, my advice stay away from them since they are sturdy in the propitiatory nouns. I made the mistake of buying a sony laptop and anything I wanted to buy for it as an attachment have to be sony with a sony price ticket.
