Camcorder to walk for? Sony DCR SR300? Sony HDR SR1? Sony HDR SR5? Sony HDR SR7?

I am planning to buy a camcorder with continuum not being an issue. I am looking near minimal manual control and hear Sony has best of the point-and-shoot camcorders. Also I would prefer HardDisk format. What amongst the above model would you suggest. I hear that high definition video is the up-to-the-minute in the flea market. Can someone help me deicde where on earth SDR or HDR to opt for? Also are there any key difference between SR5 & SR7, apart from HDD capacity and still print resolution. As i already have a digital camera, I prefer this as video capture device. Still image point is not an criteria. Other than that, does SR5 and SR7 fall into same league surrounded by terms of video element? Would really appreicate if someone can throw some light on it? Thanks within advance.

Answers:    There are plentiful great HD camcorders in the digital souk now, not one and only from Sony. There are Canon,Sanyo, JVC, Panasonic and even $300 Aiptek GO HD. I wrote some posts about HD cams. For more details be my guest at: http://fototramp.blogspot.com/2007/02/7-...
