I'm looking to buy a camcorder on-line. Anyone know of any dutiful websites?

I tried buying a Sony camcorder from a place called 86th Street Photo and Video because they have it for great price. After I placed my order I googled the business. You wouldn't believe adjectives of the negative reviews. I call my husband to tell him the desperate news, he told me to appointment them to get a tracking number for my instruct. I did, then the guy tell me he needs my 3 digit payment code on the back of my credit card. I feel very timid about this since I already enter that on the site. I told him no and he very rudely said he be canceling my order and hung up. Are adjectives internet businesses shady like this? Does anyone know of a reputable business I could return with a camcorder from? Thank you so much! And be very aware of that business that I mentioned above!
