Can mini dv tape alteration video characteristic within different cameras?
Answers: I'm not sure what you're asking... do you enjoy mini dv tapes or do you enjoy different camcorders?
The quality of the mini dv cartridge shouldn't matter as much as your camera since the tape are digital. Digital quality is measured by the amount of information you camcorder can closely cram on a dv tape. You could show the same point through three different mini dv camcorders using the same cassette and have tremendously different results.
On the other hand, you could use three different brands of mini dv tape in indistinguishable camcorder and the quality would be like peas in a pod on each one.
I use minidv tape interchangeably between my Sony and Panasonic camcorders with no apparent difference.
I do find the Panasonic to be better for recording the tape, especially in in-door gyms.
Yes. Mini DVs don't determine the standard of the footage, it's the camcorders that do - (which is the reason why camcorders change in price). The DV tape pretty much just store the shots regardless of their feature. Think of thumb drives, they don't effect the quality of what's stored contained by them.
Hope that was an unproblematic explanation.
