I've lost the driver disc of my Sony DCR-DVD301 Camcorder. There seem to be no way out to download it from Sony

With a DVD camera you do not need any drivers - you a short time ago need the correct software.

Try doing it this process

Use a programme such as Ulead VideoStudio - you take the mini-disc out of your camcorder and put it into the DVD tray of your PC making sure it sits centrally contained by the little depression made for it. You may have to 'finalise' the mini DVD your camera almanac will tell you how to do that - but you should transcribe that once a DVD is finalised you cannot record any more video on it.

Inside VideoStudio you select "Insert DVD" and point the programme at the DVD and follow the prompts and the video is copied from the disc into the timeline of VideoStudio so that you can stifle it - add lots of different video together - add titles/music/narration - product a file that you can e-mail or upload to 'Youtube' etc. and finally burn to a full size DVD to play contained by a standard player.
