Can I use a digital camcorder and account directly from an analog camcorder?

I need to know if it is possible to connect two cameras together and transcript the video from my analog camera onto a tape within the digital camera? The results would be a digital video which I can load into my notebook without have to "capture" as I would the analog version. Basically, I want to bypass using the analog altered copy in my PC adjectives together. The digital version would be AVI which is confidently accepted by Windows Movie Maker.

Answers:    Yes, some digital camcorders own AV in(most of the camcorders got AV out but not IN), these camcorders are little bit expensive.Using AV cord ,you can copy from another cam, VCR,DVD player,or from TV to this camcorder.
The best answer I can afford you is "maybe."

Some digital camcorders support analog input, some don't.
Some Sony camcorders enjoy a "pass through" mode, which mode you can use them as an analog to digital converter and do everything in one step.
