Aquapac for panasonic vid camera?

I'm looking for an economical way to rainproof my panasonic pvgs-500 so I can take it snorkeling and surfing. So far adjectives I've been competent to find on the internet is a product called the Aquapac. Has anyone used this and is it worth the $120? is at hand something better? Also, how well does the lens portion of the pack work. Near as I can tell from the pictures it appears to be a stiff however pliable plastic. My concern is that it is too malleable which could distort images. And does the camera somehow out of harm`s way in the pack with a strap or spacer or free float inside the pack? Any help here is most appreciated. Thank you

Answers:    Your concerns around the aquapac are valid. If you can find a dicapac that will fit the PVGS-500, you can expect great looking underwater video:

Unlike the Aquapac, the Dicapac uses a hard plastic for the lens near soft plastic everywhere else.
