okay so i got a cartridge from a camcorder but its to small to be played on the vcr of course but i know near is regular VCR tapes that enjoy an opening where on earth you can put these smaller tapes into does anyone know where on earth i could buy one or what they are called?
Answers: If it say 8mm on it then you can NOT obtain an adapter to play it in a standard VCR. 8mm and VHS are not compatible cartridge sizes and you will not be able to do it that process.

You're looking for a VHS-C adapter. BUT, are you sure you've got a VHS-C cartridge? It should be 92mm x 58mm x 20mm - if it isn't it's some other format, probably MiniDV, and you'll need a camcorder to play it.
