Question more or less downloading from my Cannon ZR800?

I know I need to achieve a "Firewire" connection but, do I call for to get a specific card or is at hand an addapter to use it with a USB?

also, how in the region of a recomendation for a good editing program.

Answers:    If you have a laptop, any standard firewire card will work. You already have a flex that connects to it from your camcorder. USB is another type of connection and not really angelic for video.

A good dvd writing program is Nero 6. It have an editor but a program with a better editor is ArcSoft Showbiz. Showbiz costs $100 while you can pick up Nero 6 on ebay for below $20. The writing program is better in Nero. I hold both softwares.
