How do i upload my video from my JVC GR-D770 video cam to my computer?

as i mentioned, i have a JVC GR-D770 and i own been trying for yesteryear 4 days to upload my video using a USB cable. I've done a few readings and I found out that I needed a Fire Wire cable and/or a fire flex card.

do i need both or lately one? and about how much would what i have need of cost in US dollars? and what is a firewire card anyway?

Answers:    You want a firewire card (also called an ieee1394) installed within your computer and a firewire cord(ieee 1394) to connect your camera to your pc. Check your computer first to see if you already hold a firewire card, it will look similar to a usb connection with the sole purpose shaped a little different. The firewire cord have a firewire end and a dv shutting down that fits into the camera. Not sure about prices. Here is a site that sell cables http://www. dcables. com You can also go and get both of those things at a computer store, like Fryes, bestbuy, compusa. I googled and found this site which shows pictures. http://www.usbgear.com/PCI_IEEE1394_Card...
