Im 15 and enjoy a enthusiasm for filmmaking and involve a exotic 24p camera. what should I go and get?

I love filmmaking, and my old crappy dvd camera broke so im looking to buy a topical camera. Im a student so I only hold a budget of about $2000 and thats pushing it already. I really have need of a 24p camera (records at 24 frames/second) right now because I am applying to interlochen center of the arts, and it wants a portoflio


Answers:    My advice would be to rent the equipment to form the portfolio. You do not want to send a cheap looking video to Interlochen. Once you gain into Interlochen they have the equipment for you to swot on so you will not need to own it at that time. When you finish the course you will be surrounded by a better position to buy a better camera and/or go to work for a company that have better equipment. In fact, if you attain into Interlochen send me an email, I own a production company not far from in that and some times look for people that want to swot up the business by assisting with productions. Good luck!
throw a fundraiser group. Make it simple, be creative. I'm sure between family, friends, and newly plain associates you'de be able to put on a pedestal some money. If these people caution enough for you I'm sure they'll perfectionism for your cause. GOOD LUCK IN YOUR FUTURE GOAL!
