Can you recommend a camcorder please?

I want one that records straight onto a dvd, simple plenty to use. Looking at spending about lb250- lb300 max.

Answers:    I concur beside Paul R. HDD and DVD camcorders are a waste of money at the moment.

It's lb322 but it's a lovely model. and 3 CCDs for a better print.

MiniDV is still a superior recording technology.

DVD-RWs for camcorders are still too expensive unless you buy surrounded by bulk...
Honestly, forget DVD cameras, they are rubbish. The discs aren't always compatible beside home players, you an only fit give or take a few 20 mins worth of footage on a disc at decent characteristic.

For this kind of bread I would be looking firmly at miniDV, perhaps a 3ccd panasonic if you can stretch to it, if you want the most for your money.
