Need comfort near getting video onto my computer from an elder camcorder?

I came across a camcorder I've have for awhile and it has profusely of videos on it that I'd similar to to put on my computer but I dont know how. Its a Sony Handycam Vision video Hi8. Model Number CCD-TRV108 NTSC. It uses those little casettes. Is there any agency to get the video onto my computer without buying expensive cards or cable?

Answers:    You need a video Capture Card.

You can bring back one at CompUSA for as little as $40.
You'll need some sort of card or cable. I'm told the Kworld Professional DVD Maker works ably, though I've never used one, and I'm only seeing it on UK network sites. If you want the best quality you'll stipulation to go for something approaching the Canopus ADVC range, but they're plentifully more expensive.

I'd avoid a TV capture card - the standard tends to be exceptionally poor.
If you don't want to buy and install cards, something like

will work.

You do not want to move about "cheap".
