Trying to download video from my camcorder to my computer.?
Answers: You need to connect the camera to the computer via a Firewire (aka iLink, aka IEEE 1394) cable. Your camera requests to be in playback mode, not camera mode. If you don't enjoy a firewire cable, you will probably need a 4-pin to 6-pin cable (tiny connector on one come to an end for your camcorder, larger connector on the other end for your computer). If you are using a laptop, sometimes they hold the smaller 4-pin connector port as well, surrounded by which case you would necessitate a 4-pin to 4-pin cable (see below for pictures of each). You really don't need any special converter to put things up on YouTube, as long as your video is below 5 minutes and the whole article is less than 100MB. YouTube converts your submitted files to flash format automatically.
Just Plug the cable that come with your camera into your camera afterwards into your computer. Then a window should pop up. View it near Window's Media Player. Then you will see your video. Then you go to File>>Save>>And reclaim it>>Then upload it. Hope this helps!
