Is the Panasonic MiniDV PV-GS300 a correct camcorder?

I already have a Panasonic sdr-h18 HDD camcorder but I am not joyous with the video power. It only have 1 CCD sensor and I saw the gs300 has 3 CCDs. I deduce I want to switch over to MiniDV because I have hear they have better video part. I was looking at alot of different kind, but a friend has the gs300 and I approaching it. Is there any other MiniDV camcorder I should consider? All I perfectionism about is that the camcorder have great video and sound feature and its not over $600. Thanks alot!

Answers:    The PV-GS series is very honest, I have a PV-GS65 and love it. With the GS300, at hand are great things about it, but nearby are a few features that earlier models contained by the series had that the GS300 does not own. Overall, a very moral camera. Therefore, get a upright look at a good, end review of it, and figure out if it is the best meeting for your needs and price extent.
