How do i do this within sony vegas?
and one more article, i wanna zoom on a part of a clip but when i did, it newly zoomed within a sudden, how can i make the zoom to flow? like it doesnt of late zoom into the clip...
Answers: for fast/slow play, press control while clicking in the right border of the clip (in the timeline) and stretch it within or out.
Another way is to right click the clip surrounded by the timeline and in the properties transform the "playback rate" parameter.
For zooming is more complicated to explain. I use the "Event pan/crop", once you enlarge this window surrounded by the bottom you have a special timeline, every alter you do to the video zoom will appear as a mark contained by this timeline. Then by changing the marks' positio surrounded by this timeline you control how fast/slow the change will pinch place, also if you right click this marks you can select the transition type (slow, sudden,etc...)
Hope it help
For the slow motion, you can create a velocity envelope on the track that your video is on. Double click on the envelope to create points. This is much smoother than the control-key option.
If you right- click on the keyframes within the pan/crop window and select "smooth" consequently they should do just that.
