My camera?

I have a video camera. It is a Sony Handycam. I've have it for about 2 years. Everything have been working great until very soon. Yesterday I was tape something, and I went to playback it. Everything be good. That same time a couple of hours later, I go to playback something else, but when I playbacked it, there be 5 grey, horizontal lines running across the screen. You could see the playback but with the sole purpose in the circumstance. The lines covered the whole peak. I tried like 10 different tape. They all did matching thing. I tried cleaning the tape. Nothing. Does anybody know what this is?

Thanks so much!

Answers:    did you play it back on the video recorder ? if so its possible the blind has become diluted or the sensor. If the screen works contained by normal mode it may be that the cassette heads involve cleaning just resembling in a regular vcr or cassette player.
