i filmed a video on my camera in the past and when i played it back on my computer, it worked purely fine. but now when i try to play a strange video, it won't play in window media player, quicktime, etc. and it say the video may be 'corrupted' how do i fix that?

Answers:    this unfortunately happen to digital files on hard disks, over time a complex disk develops minor wear and develops bad sector where a directory is. This is why it's always righteous to have more than one copy of critical files. Occasionally a wallet can be fixed by running the disk check program. You can find this by right-clicking the start button. Select 'explore' and highlight 'Local Disk (C:)'. Right-click on it and select 'properties' later the tools tab, and the 'check now' button. Check both of the buttons and select start. It will probably tell you that you can't do this immediately but do you want to do it the next time you restart the computer. Select 'yes', and restart your computer. It will pilfer a while for this program to run depending on your hard disk size. When it's done, see if the video will play. This tool fixes lots computer problems.
it is unfixable... you have to stir film it again... thats why i show in mini dv... it really sucks when you motion picture skating and stuff though...
