Budget multitrack digital recorder?

Answers: I don't know of any budget ones. I use Adobe Audition on my computer. It have 128 tracks mono or stereo and fantastic editing capabilities and I get mine as a free download from 9down.com
Movie Magix. Is the best multi track editor that is underneath $60.
Actually I like it better than pinnacle studio which simply has 2 tracks or sony vegas.
I own only used up to 3 tracks but it is tabled for 99.
It doe snot currently support AVCHD content, but that will probably change contained by the next release.
Their container tool is very effortless for me to use compared to pinnacle or Ulead.
portable audio recording really have not kept pace beside the advances contained by video technology. If you have a laptop computer, the best/cheapest solution is to use a USB mixer/recorder leeway. These are powered by the usb buss and provide excellent control and high characteristic audio capture direct to a computer wallet or program.
