There is about a $20 price difference at shopcartusa.com. The SR5 is a low stratum high def, and the 300 is a big level cam near no high def. The similarities own me befuddled. Thanks.

go near the Sony HDR SR5. For that price difference, it cant be beat. Besides standard definition is slowly going out and you will be glad you go with big definition. Make sure your computer can handle giant definition and you have editing software that works beside it.
