i am having an issue when i try to master to digital s via the component inputs, at hand is a slight "twitch" every couple of seconds on the video when i play it on a differnt deck. this does not happen when i use the composite input. anyone hold any ideas? i will provide more info if needed. thankfulness in finance.

I used to transfer MII component to the JVC Digital S near no particular problem. The JVC equipment is "economy" level, and as i remember it warns against using non-standard inputs. That is, any input requests to be TBC and have broadcast sync. It could be that the component signals you are using are not stable plenty for the JVC to use.
