If i want to do video CD for making short films, shud i buy a camera beside video leeway or a camcorder?
Answers: I have a Canon S2 IS, a still camera that does video. I bought it for stills, of course, and I never thought I'd breed videos beside it but it works amazingly well. With a 1 see card I can record for almost an hour. It has a 12x zoom, and you can use the zoom while you're shooting. And it files sound surrounded by stereo! And I find that often when I'm out taking photos there are things that look better on a 1 or 2 minute video.
But if I be primarily interested in making video, I'd buy a video camera. For one thing, it would be nice to enjoy one with a mic. jack, so you could use a mic. closer to the subject. DV or mini-DV would be easier to download and bowdlerize, and probably have better resolution. Imagine Stabilization would be a nice entity (actually my Canon has that). For any class of serious work at all you'd want a nice starchy tripod too.
I am amazed at how cheap these things are today. I'm not really an expert so I can't say for sure, but I infer you can buy a pretty good digital video camera a cheap or cheaper than pretty correct still camera.
I've played around with the concept of making a short edited video with my Canon. I dream up the biggest problem is that it would have to hold narration or a sound track assembled separately. The mics on the camera are moral enough, but to procure someone's voice they would have to be right up close.
If you want flawless quality you should win a dedicated video camera. they do spawn Digital Cam that also record video, I own one and the quality is travelable, but a good DVD/HDD cam will work so much better and make available much better video.

this was film with a Samsung Digi cam. the video is fuzzy and not immensely clear. It's passable. and workable. but when you compare it to something shot beside an Actual video cam.
there is a main quality rework. go beside a dedicated video camera. product sure it's PC compatable as this will be a major give support to when it comes to editing, and adding effects similar to saber blades
