Help near tranferring video to notebook beside no firewire nouns or expansion slot?
Answers: If your laptop have no internal firewire and no PCMCIA/PC Card/Expresscard slots, then you're out of luck as far as DV is concerned. If you enjoy access to another PC or laptop with firewire, you could invasion the videos here and then copy the files to your laptop via a make friends or external drive. Otherwise, you'd have to use a USB analog occupation device connected to the analog video outputs of your camera, but this means no deck control, no timecode, and a considerable drop in level.
I don't think a usb to firewire (or vice versa) adaptor exist.
The use of a AV appropriation device would be the next best entry. Example is the Creative Video Blaster. It accepts DV nouns from your camera to the device and convert it to may formats including mpeg2 - ready for DVD creation. Comes next to software to do up your DVD and camera control.
