Video have made several change over the years, what format is subsequent and how will it work?
Answers: Hi-definition discs. I'm seeing Blu-ray coming out on top here, with Warner anyone the most recent one to jump on the train. It's more expensive than HD-DVD, but its 25 GB capacity beat HD-DVD's 15. Of course, those who went for better standard lost out in the Betamax vs. VHS format period of war.
Mobile video is the next piece. Portability is ever-increasing, and that trend will continue. The subsequent logical step is to have video that can be carried on small portable devices, downloadable from anywhere. It exists, but not contained by wide use...however.
It won't be thru any disc. With today's fast internet and substantial capacity concrete drives - downloadable video/ movies will be the trend.
