Sony Handy Cam-Windows Movie Maker?

I need to variety a movie real rushed and I want to take some clips from a unfinalized dvd contained by my sony handy cam...how do I hook my camera up to the computer to be able to hold certain clips from the dvd...or should I put the dvd contained by my laptop? Remember the disk is not finalized...


Answers:    Use ROXIO MEDIA SUITE. Connect camera via firewire. Startup software, connect camera, turn it on. Software will detect camera. Check make cd on the flight. Control camera from software. When on the spot u want click story. Or download video first, and then burn a DVD. Really undemanding to use once u get hold of it. I own sony too but the software with it is not professional and never used it. Good luck.
Try both methods.
To insert the camera into the computer
1. Find the USB port on the camera and PC plug them within
2. Go to My Computer
3. Find your camera
4. Get the files

DVD
1. Insert DVD
2. Burn it to the computer by:
- Either burning it like a compact disc
OR
- Find the file copy and join it to the Desktop
3. Go into Window Movie Maker
4. Get Files
5. Insert your Movie
