one possible way is to own a VERY small scale model of doesn`t matter what is "exploding"

then zoom surrounded by close, make sure you also hold other things to imply level - like fictitious trees, rocks etc
make it greatly light and flimsy...epoxy resin and balsa wood etc
play the exploding shed in slow motion....so u see the pieces fly
next overlay some flame or sparks or smoke with animation or stock footage of explosion, and combine adjectives with a well-mannered sound effect
